Use targeted keywords that customers are searching for. Include your company name in your ad copy. Create a landing page to provide more information about the product or service you are advertising
An effective campaign is a simple and affordable way to grow your business. For example, if you sell ice cream, your ad might include something like Best Ice Cream in Town! or Hometown Favorite. That way people searching for ice cream can click on your ad and be directed to a page about your favorite flavors. Once there, they’ll have a chance to read reviews from other customers and even order their own ice cream online.
2) Use Keywords with Low Competition
To improve your google AdWords campaigns you should use keywords with low competition. Using a keyword that has high competition will result in your ads not being shown. You can see which keywords have low competition by using the ‘low competition’ filter on Keyword Planner, where the percentage indicates how many advertisers are bidding on that particular keyword.
You should also avoid using broad match or phrase match when possible and instead use exact match to make sure you’re only showing up for relevant searches. And of course, be sure to set an appropriate budget for your campaign based on what is reasonable for your business!
3) Track the Results
Turn off auto-complete. Auto-complete is a great tool for spelling out long keywords, but it can backfire if you are bidding on a lot of phrases. If you turn off auto-complete, the keyword suggestions will not be based on your past searches. This will allow you to bid on a greater number of terms without accidentally selecting popular keywords that are already being used by your competitors.
Diversify your account with different marketing strategies. Even though PPC may be just one part of your marketing strategy, it should still have its own separate campaign. Don’t use a broad campaign name like Digital Marketing and instead create specific campaigns targeting different markets or goals.
Research before running campaigns. Don’t blindly create campaigns without taking time to research your target audience and competition; otherwise, you might end up spending money needlessly!
